Set in a private setting, “a place to stay” is a large one bedroom unit situated between Moonta and Moonta Bay. You are close to shops and cafe’s and the lovely beaches, yet isolated from holiday crowds. Being set on its own block of land, you have privacy and plenty of off street parking for cars, boats, trailers or room for the kids to safely ride their bikes, well away from traffic. The gardens are lush and relaxing, perfect for a BBQ and glass of wine. The front veranda is sheltered from the elements with shade cloth. At night time sit outside watch the stars and enjoy the tranquillity.
If fishing is your thing, you’re only five minutes to the Port Hughes boat ramp. Moonta Bay and Port Hughes jetties are also close by. Clean your catch with the fish cleaning sink provided.
You may like to book yourself on a fishing charter. Take a look in the second hand shops in Moonta, for some bargains from yesteryear, or explore the sites of the old copper mines while taking a ride on the Moonta Mines tourist train.
Don’t forget the lovely beaches, only minutes away; “a place to stay” makes a great home base.
